In July 2025, a new chapter began when ABASCO acquired the club, ushering in a transformative era. Basim AlBeladi the leading role in the acquisition, spearheading a dedicated team working behind the scenes. Basim was appointed CEO of Al Ansar FC, a role that fuses his leadership experience with a lifelong personal connection to the club.
For Basim, this appointment is not just a professional milestone, it is the fulfillment of a dream that began in childhood, cheering from the stands of Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Stadium. His vision for Al Ansar extends beyond short-term results; it is grounded in building a sustainable, future-ready football institution that reclaims its place on the national stage, and in service to the City of Medina and its people.
